Senior Customer Success Engineer

Overview

Senior Customer Success Engineer responsible for long-term technical ownership of customer outcomes across the Veeam Data Platform.

What you'll do

• Lead onboarding, adoption, and optimization for customer accounts.
• Configure customer accounts and customize backup policies and storage.
• Run recovery simulations and conduct DRMM assessments, including quarterly resilience reporting.
• Monitor churn risk signals, define mitigation plans, and support renewal strategy with technical insights.
• Identify migration opportunities, analyze usage/environment, and deliver success planning sessions.
• Build protection plans and recommend software products and architectures across the Veeam Data Platform.
• Engage CISO/CIO stakeholders with risk, status, and opportunity updates.

What you'll need

• 5+ years in customer-facing engineering roles focused on data backup and recovery.
• Advanced level of English (Spanish/German/French noted as nice to have).
• Hands-on expertise across operating systems, virtualization, storage, scripting/automation, cloud platforms, and DR&R best practices.
• Experience designing/executing protection plans, migrations, and recovery simulations.
• VMCE certification required (may be completed post-hire within an agreed timeframe).
• Ability to translate business outcomes into technical adoption roadmaps and measurable value.
