Senior Customer Success Engineer

Overview

Senior Customer Success Engineer owning long-term technical outcomes for customers across the Veeam Data Platform, focused on onboarding, adoption, optimization, and resilience.

What you'll do

• Configure customer accounts, customize backup policies and storage, and facilitate onboarding.
• Introduce support channels and walk through admin portals for stakeholders.
• Identify migration opportunities by analyzing usage and the customer environment.
• Conduct protection planning, build protection plans, and recommend software products and architectures across the Veeam Data Platform.
• Run recovery simulations and apply the Veeam Data Resilience Maturity Model (DRMM) for resilience posture tracking and quarterly reporting.
• Monitor signals to detect churn risk early and define mitigation plans; partner on renewal strategy with technical insights.

What you'll need

• 5+ years in customer-facing engineering roles focused on data backup and recovery (e.g., Technical Consulting, Pre-Sales SE, Technical Account Manager).
• Advanced level of English.
• Hands-on expertise across operating systems, virtualization, storage, scripting/automation, cloud platforms, and DR&R best practices.
• Strong experience designing/executing protection plans, migrations, and recovery simulations.
• VMCE certification required (may be completed post-hire within an agreed timeframe).
