Overview
Senior Cybersecurity Analyst (Cybersecurity Advisor) role within Caterpillar’s AP Cybersecurity – CAT IT Division, acting as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Drive regional cybersecurity governance, risk management, security assessments, compliance programs, and advisory services.
- Serve as a cybersecurity advisor to business leaders, project teams, and technology stakeholders.
- Conduct security assessments, compliance reviews, and risk evaluations aligned to security frameworks and standards.
- Review and advise on the security architecture of applications, infrastructure projects, cloud solutions, and outsourced services.
- Coordinate vulnerability assessments, remediation plans, and remediation progress reporting.
- Support incident response activities including investigation, response coordination, and escalation communications.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT risk management, security consulting, or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of at least two or more specified cybersecurity domains (e.g., IAM, cryptography/data protection, network security, cloud security).
- Demonstrated ability to perform security assessments, risk evaluations, and security consulting engagements.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence business and technical stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.

- Location preference: Bangalore.
- Work schedule: 5-day a week; shift timing 01:00–10:00 PM IST.
