Senior Data Analyst (Contract)

Overview

Senior Data Analyst (Contract) within the HCJ DP organization, focused on data integrity, scalable data solutions, and business analysis for decision-making across the customer journey growth space.

What you'll do

• Solve business problems using data, insights, and business storytelling.
• Write, interpret, and optimize complex SQL queries for ad hoc analysis and decision support.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical data models.
• Develop and enhance enterprise data products to deliver governed, reusable datasets.
• Translate business requirements into dashboards, presentations, and recommendations.
• Build and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports for key business metrics.
• Support Agile delivery cycles including clarification, refinement, testing, rollout, and documentation.

What you'll need

• 3 to 8 years of applied work experience in data analytics/BI/data engineering/data products/quantitative analysis.
• Hand-on expertise in SQL programming and database concepts.
• Self-service BI and visualization tool experience, preferably Tableau (dashboard design, publishing, performance optimization).
• Experience with data products including dataset ownership, governance, data modeling, quality checks, metadata, and lifecycle management.
• Data engineering concepts experience including ETL/ELT pipelines, transformation, orchestration, optimization, and reusable assets.
• PySpark programming experience is mandatory.
• Agile implementation cycle experience including rollouts, stakeholder engagement, and delivery tracking.
