Overview
Staff AI & Automation Data Analyst (individual contributor) to lead the technical build of AI and applied ML capabilities within an analytics function.
What you'll do
- Own the technical build of AI-powered analytics tools including RAG pipelines, LLM-assisted querying, agent workflows, and applied ML models.
- Apply data science methods (forecasting, segmentation, anomaly detection, classification) when the problem calls for them.
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents for analytics use cases like answering business questions, drafting recurring reports, and flagging anomalies.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to automate manual, repetitive analytics work with AI, then prototype, test, and productionize solutions.
- Propose and maintain a rolling technical roadmap for AI and data science work in analytics.
- Write the SQL/Python needed to support models and analysis and collaborate on shared systems.
- Champion data governance and AI-readiness practices and partner with stakeholders and IT/engineering/data platform teams.
What you'll need
- 7+ years of experience across data science, applied AI/ML, or advanced analytics with Staff-level individual-contributor technical ownership.
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, math, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong Python skills for data science and automation (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, building/calling ML models).
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs and AI agents such as RAG pipelines, orchestration frameworks, prompt engineering, or tool-calling.
- Strong SQL skills and data modeling fluency to work with broader technical teams.
- High adaptability to change approaches, learn new tools quickly, and adjust plans as the AI landscape shifts.
- Excellent communication skills to explain AI/data science concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
