Job description
Overview
KBR is looking for a Senior Layout Designer to work within the piping design team on onshore projects, ensuring piping design integrity is not compromised while managing project execution.
What you'll do
- Develop unit plot plans and equipment layouts
- Carry out layout optimization studies
- Prepare MTO (material take-off)
- Review vendor packages
What you'll need
- Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Excellent knowledge of E3D, MS Office, AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Good knowledge of mechanical handling concepts
- Good knowledge of conceptual layout study
- Knowledge of support modelling (MDS, special support)
- Good communication skills
- 8 to 15 years of experience in the above skills and responsibilities
Nice to have
- Drawing generation
- Experience in ammonia and urea
