Senior Digital Design Engineer

Overview

Senior Digital Design Engineer for the Automotive Networking team, leading block-level design and verification for complex digital subsystems.

What you'll do

• Define requirements, architecture, and design specifications with cross-functional teams.
• Architect, design, implement, and maintain RTL IP for digital systems.
• Optimize designs for performance, power, and area.
• Run simulation, synthesis, and timing analysis for RTL IP.
• Define test strategies and support debug with verification engineers.
• Contribute to design reviews, architecture decisions, and methodology improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and interact with customers on requirements and technical solutions.

What you'll need

• At least 6 years of experience in digital design or a related field.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic engineering or a related field.
• Block-level design and verification experience for complex digital systems using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Experience with timing closure, power optimization, and area optimization.
• Programming experience in C/C++, Python, or TCL.
• Experience designing and integrating multi-clock digital systems.
• Experience with SPI, I²C, or UART protocols.

Nice to have

• FPGA emulation or pre-silicon system validation experience.
• Exposure to Ethernet, switching, packet processing, or TSN.
• Exposure to microcontroller-based subsystems.
• Exposure to automotive functional safety flows such as ISO26262.
• Familiarity with embedded-systems security or encryption techniques.

• Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
• Travel required: 10% of the time.
• Shift: 1st shift/days.
