Senior DSP Engineer

Overview

Senior DSP Engineer to advance drone detection and localization using RF spectrum analysis.

What you'll do

• Perform advanced RF spectrum analysis and feature extraction from RF signals using SDR frameworks.
• Write prototype signal-processing code in Python or Matlab to proof concepts.
• Develop and optimize real-time signal processing algorithms in C++ and CUDA for detecting, classifying, and locating drones.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and data fusion teams to integrate DSP components into larger systems.
• Mentor junior team members as a technical resource.
• Create detailed technical documentation and present findings to stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in digital signal processing including modulation methods, frequency analysis, and digital filters.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for real-time system development and prototyping.
• Knowledge of wireless communication systems including LTE PHY, IEEE802.11, and IEEE802.15.4.

Details

• Work location based out of the Kassel office with a hybrid schedule.
• Onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays (unless an approved workplace accommodation).
