Senior Electronic Design Engineer

Overview

Senior Electronic Design Engineer responsible for designing, developing, simulating, and testing electronic hardware products for intelligent travel applications.

What you'll do

• Own full technical responsibility for electronic and electrical engineering from design through documentation.
• Lead design ownership and provide progress updates to the business.
• Manage suppliers from engineering specification through parts delivery for evaluation, prototyping, and production.
• Assess design and manufacturing proposals for cost effectiveness.
• Assist with preparing presentations and customer proposals.
• Collaborate with all teams and management with clear verbal and written communication.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of design and/or testing experience for hardware/embedded projects.
• B.E/B.Tech (or M.E/M.Tech) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a similar relevant subject.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in hardware design and testing.
• Thorough understanding and hands-on experience with Gbit Ethernet, USB, SPI, and I2C interfaces.
• Experience with the hardware development life cycle: requirements, feasibility, design, component selection, and schematic/layout coordination.
• Knowledge of using Altium is required as part of the listed experience.
• Experience writing requirement specifications, detailed design, test requirements, and test reports.
