Senior Engineer

Overview

Senior Engineer (AVP) to work as a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer across secure, resilient, scalable, and cost-effective hybrid cloud environments.

What you'll do

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud environments on GCP.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar tools.
• Implement security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance requirements.
• Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, and interconnects for secure networking.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Implement monitoring and alerting using Stackdriver (Cloud Operations) or Prometheus.

What you'll need

• Strong experience with GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, networking, Kubernetes, and serverless.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Bash and IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and GitOps workflows.
• Understanding of security, IAM, networking, and compliance in cloud environments.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Datadog.
• Google Cloud certifications such as Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, or Professional DevOps Engineer are an advantage.
