Senior Engineer - Civil

Overview

Senior Civil Engineer responsible for monitoring and executing civil maintenance activities and ensuring preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance.

What you'll do

• Control and monitor preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Participate in near miss incidents and accident investigations.
• Participate in emergency exercises.
• Ensure incidents are investigated promptly and take steps for preventive recurrence.
• Handle civil maintenance work inside and outside buildings.
• Perform repair and plastering, stone replacement, painting, polishing, and crack/seepage repairs.
• Ensure safety while adhering to safety norms.

What you'll need

• Ability to function and ensure sewerage and storm water systems.
• Knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures, SOPs, and legal requirements.
• Ability to communicate and enforce safety standards and OH&S procedures within the team.
• Ability to identify workplace risks and implement and communicate control measures.
• Ability to ensure work complies with the Permit to Work system and risk controls (OSRA, JSA, HIRA, TBT).
• Ability to report and investigate incidents, Near Miss Cases, and Safety Observations according to procedures.
• Ability to maintain and track OH&S documentation as assigned.
