Senior Principal Engineer - Civil & Structural

Overview

Senior Principal Engineer (Civil & Structural) serving as discipline lead for proposals and projects, responsible for safe, compliant, reliable engineering design and execution within contractual scope, quality, schedule, and cost.

What you'll do

• Act as discipline lead engineer for various proposals and projects.
• Deliver engineering work within contractual framework covering quality, schedule, and cost effectiveness.
• Develop and implement engineering practices, workflows, procedures, and resulting specifications.
• Coordinate project execution compliance with Discipline Manual and Job Manual.
• Ensure design deliverable quality and on-time quality review of inter-discipline and vendor documents.
• Manage technical procurement and review/approve vendor documents for C&S items.
• Lead C&S engineering for projects and coordinate with other engineering disciplines, vendors, and construction teams.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of work experience in EPC or detail design engineering for executed projects.
• Experience in sectors including Oil & Gas, Energy, Refining, and Petrochemicals.
• Education: MTech/ME or BTech/BE.
• Tool proficiency including STAAD Pro, Auto-CAD, MS Office, and Smart Plant Review/Navisworks.
• Structural steel connection design experience.
• Ability to prepare Bar Bending Schedule.
• Perform man-hours calculations using a discipline calculation tool.
