Senior Engineer, EDG Validation

Overview

Senior Engineer for EDG validation, working on Client SSD validation engineering to develop and execute validation strategies for product success.

What you'll do

• Review and challenge current test plans, coverage, and testing activities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
• Recommend and instrument new validation approaches for better end-to-end coverage and accuracy.
• Define test cases to verify functional and non-functional requirement compliance to system requirements.
• Set PASS/FAIL criteria based on number of cycles, statistical measures, and temperature.
• Plan test schedules/strategies aligned to project scope and delivery dates.
• Define test implementation strategy and software architecture; plan and implement test automation.
• Execute validation flow, monitor test time, analyze results, generate bin Pareto reports, and manage defects to closure.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of validation experience.
• BS in an engineering subject area or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PCIe SSDs, NAND, memory storage hierarchy, and NVMe protocol.
• Strong Python scripting experience.
• Ability to analyze problems, diagnose to root cause, and apply corrective actions.
• Experience applying AI/ML techniques to analyze large-scale validation and test data and build AI-enabled tools for failure triage and root cause analysis.
