Senior Engineer - Fleet Management Baker Hughes (Oil & Gas Industry Segment)

Overview

Senior engineering role supporting the GE Vernova–Baker Hughes partnership and heavy-duty gas turbine end users in the oil and gas industry. The role coordinates technical support, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and customer communications across engineering and commercial functions.

What you'll do

• Represent GE Vernova in root cause analyses, repair activities, reliability and life management, and technical education.
• Support heavy-duty gas turbine installations and outages.
• Resolve Baker Hughes Help Cases directly or coordinate with other teams.
• Support root cause analysis execution and align outcomes with GE Vernova causes and corrective actions.
• Lead technical customer communications at conferences and in-person meetings.
• Prepare quarterly summaries for accurate billing of Baker Hughes-funded work.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
• At least 8 years of experience in gas turbine engineering or related technologies.
• Knowledge of B/E Class heavy-duty gas turbines.
• Knowledge of the GE Vernova Gas Turbine business.
• Strong gas turbine technology fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Tops 8D or other root cause analysis techniques.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management and Power Now tools.
• Customer-focused communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects.
