Senior Engineer - Technical Services

Overview

Senior Field Service Engineer responsible for advanced technical support and leadership across a service cluster in Mumbai, including installations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, service escalation, and performance management.

What you'll do

• Lead complex installations, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades at customer sites.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point within the assigned cluster.
• Manage customer relationships, including technical guidance and training programs.
• Support service revenue growth via service contracts, preventive maintenance agreements, and service solutions.
• Help plan preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate installation and commissioning activities.
• Monitor service performance, workload distribution, and technician utilization across the cluster.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in field service, technical support, equipment maintenance/installation, or after-sales service in Medtech companies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in technical coaching and escalation management.
• Knowledge of CRM and field service management systems.
• Ability to work independently and travel extensively to customer sites.
