Sr. Engineer - Data Scientist

Sr. Engineer – Data Scientist at Kyndryl, bridging business problems with data-driven and statistical solutions, from modeling through deployment.

What you'll do

• Convert business objectives and requirements into data problems.
• Collect and explore data to identify patterns and generate hypotheses.
• Develop statistical and mathematical models and evaluate them for accuracy and generalization.
• Deploy selected models as code into applications and processes.
• Analyze business processes to identify issues and craft data-informed solutions.
• Develop standards and policies for secure, private, accurate, available, and usable data.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Experience with cluster setup, cluster management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting in distributed environments.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues across applications, clusters, and monitoring platforms.
• Strong experience working with Linux environments.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and CLI tools (Azure CLI, AWS CLI, Kubernetes CLI, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
