Senior Engineer - IT Systems Engineering

Overview

Senior Engineer role focused on providing timely, high-quality database support for AVDF and Oracle environments, including production support, monitoring, scripting, and technical assistance to end users.

What you'll do

• Execute AVDF and database-related production tasks such as storing client data and fixing data errors.
• Support installation, configuration, and upgrades of AVDF and Oracle software and products.
• Create and size database storage structures and database objects.
• Plan and perform backup and recovery of database information.
• Monitor system alerts and errors, and resolve database issues independently.
• Control and monitor shell scripts and database user access.

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of database administration experience.
• Experience with AVDF and Oracle GoldenGate.
• Experience with Oracle RAC and DataGuard.
• Experience with RMAN and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of third-party tools like SQL Developer/Toad.
• UNIX platform experience, preferably HP, Linux, and Solaris.
• Ability to handle client/issues in high-pressure situations.

Details

• Location: Noida - Sector 135.
• Work includes off-hours (night shift) and weekend on-call database support.
• All colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week.
