Senior Engineer - Piping Stress

Overview

Lead piping stress engineering activities for EPC and detailed design projects across sectors including Oil & Gas, Energy, Refining, and Petrochemicals. The role covers technical design, analysis, coordination, deliverable quality, and vendor and site support.

What you'll do

• Prepare stress design bases, critical line lists, P&ID markups, load cases, and stress documentation.
• Model and analyze piping connected to major equipment and perform dynamic, seismic, wind, and slug-flow analyses.
• Evaluate stress results, displacements, support loads, and conformity across engineering drawings and calculations.
• Specify springs, expansion joints, flexible seal boots, and special supports.
• Review and approve subcontractor, vendor, equipment, and support-related documents.
• Coordinate with piping, civil, structural, process, procurement, and site teams.
• Monitor schedules, man-hours, risks, changes, quality, HSE compliance, and outsourced stress work.

What you'll need

• 7–10 years of overall experience.
• Experience in EPC or detailed design engineering companies.
• BTech/BE or MTech/ME in Mechanical Engineering.
• Mandatory experience with CAESAR-II.
• Knowledge of applicable national and international codes.
• Proficiency with SPR/Navisworks, Nozzle PRO, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
