Principal Engineer I - Instrumentation

Overview

Principal Engineer I - Instrumentation responsible for executing assigned instrumentation discipline work packages in a project environment and supporting delivery within contractual, quality, schedule, and cost frameworks.

What you'll do

• Execute assigned Discipline work packages during project execution.
• Ensure design deliverable quality and completion within man-hours and schedule dates.
• Contribute to on-time quality review of inter-discipline and vendor deliverables.
• Support safety-related principles, standards, rules, and procedures implementation.
• Support technical procurement activities for equipment.
• Support reviews and approval of vendor documents for the discipline and attend inspections as requested.

What you'll need

• 8 to 10 years of experience in EPC or detail design engineering for project execution.
• Preparation of instrumentation list and IO list.
• Preparation of technical specifications for field instruments, control valves, and DCS/SIS/PLC.
• Vendor document review/approval for instrumentation-related items.
• Tool proficiency in Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) modules, calculation tools, and Auto-CAD.
• Knowledge of application of international standards.
