Senior Engineer, Systems Engineering - Salesforce Community(Experience)Cloud

Overview

Senior Salesforce developer role on the Salesforce Experience Cloud team, responsible for designing and delivering scalable digital experience solutions on the Salesforce Experience Cloud platform (formerly Community Cloud).

What you'll do

• Design, build, and deploy Experience Cloud solutions such as customer portals, partner communities, employee hubs, and self-service sites.
• Develop Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components for Experience Cloud pages, focusing on responsiveness, accessibility (WCAG compliance), and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement branded digital experiences using Experience Builder, custom themes, CSS, and design system tokens in collaboration with UX/UI designers.
• Configure Experience Builder features including navigation menus, page layouts, audience targeting, content management, and SEO settings.
• Implement user authentication and access control, including guest access, login flows, self-registration, and social sign-on (SSO/OAuth).
• Develop integrations with external systems and CRM data exposure within Experience Cloud using platform features and APIs.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including 2+ years focused on Salesforce Experience Cloud (Community Cloud).
• Proficiency in LWC, Aura components, Apex, SOQL, and declarative automation tools (Flow, Process Builder).
• Experience with Experience Builder including theme customization, page layouts, branding sets, and audience-based personalization.
• Hands-on knowledge of Experience Cloud security model, including guest profiles, sharing rules, community membership, login flows, and external user licensing.
• Working knowledge of frontend web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+) within the Salesforce platform context.
• Experience with Salesforce DX, Git-based version control, and deployment best practices.
