Salesforce Developer

Overview

Salesforce Developer to build and own automation, data model, and custom functionality for SPAN’s commercial operations.

What you'll do

• Design and build end-to-end Salesforce automation primarily using Flow.
• Model and maintain custom Salesforce schema including objects, relationships, and validation rules.
• Write Apex and build Lightning Web Components where declarative tools can’t meet requirements.
• Gather requirements from sales, operations, finance, and supply chain stakeholders and translate them into technical specs.
• Deploy changes from sandboxes to production across environments using Gearset and change-management rigor.
• Maintain the Salesforce security model across permission sets, field-level security, profiles, and sharing.
• Support core commercial surfaces such as CPQ/quoting, Lead Pass routing, and order-to-fulfillment integration.

What you'll need

• 8+ years hands-on Salesforce development/administration/business systems building experience.
• Advanced expertise in record-triggered flows, screen flows, subflows, and invocable actions.
• Strong Salesforce data modeling skills for custom objects, junction objects, and relationships.
• Proficiency with SOQL, including relationship queries, and understanding governor limits.
• Ability to write Apex (triggers, controllers, test classes) and build Lightning Web Components with test coverage.
• Experience deploying across multiple sandboxes to production with a formal change-management process using Gearset or equivalent.
• Fluency with the Salesforce security model: permission sets, field-level security, profiles, and sharing rules.
