Senior Engineering I - Automation (Blue Prism/Power Automate)

Overview

As a Senior Engineer I – Automation, develop, maintain, optimize, and support enterprise automation solutions using Blue Prism, Power Automate, AI tools, and related technologies.

What you'll do

• Develop the full life cycle of automation solutions, from intake to development, debugging, testing, production deployment, and documentation, following established standards and governance.
• Review automated solutions with the Tech Lead to ensure objectives and guidelines are met.
• Develop comprehensive sustainability documentation for each automated process.
• Review peer documentation and contribute to team training and professional development.
• Maintain and debug existing processes to ensure consistent, up-to-date, and accurate operating rhythms.
• Participate in meetings with business collaborators to provide functional and technical support, identify automation opportunities, and discuss process improvements.
• Continuously improve existing automations for faster run times and more balanced processes.
• Assist the Transformation team with strategic and tactical roll-outs supporting organizational automation goals.
• Lead development of automation tools using Blue Prism, Power Automate, CoPilot Studio, Python, and other tools to automate large-scale repetitive tasks.
• Review and support compliance by ensuring team-developed automation processes follow established guidelines and organizational standards.
• Help team members develop expertise in Python, Power Automate, CoPilot Studio, and other AI tools.
• Implement solutions to improve existing automation runtime performance and reliability.
• Apply tools such as Gemini, OpenAI, and Snowflake Cortex to workflows when relevant.
• Support proof-of-concept development by evaluating new tools and frameworks for automation efficiency.

What you'll need

• High-level Blue Prism skills.
• Experience with Power Automate.
• Experience with AI tools involving Gemini, CoPilot Studio, OpenAI, and Snowflake Cortex.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar.
• 1+ Years of Automation Development Experience.
• Advanced abilities in Blue Prism, Power Automate, and Agentic Automation.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with CoPilot Studio, Python, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Concur, Snowflake, PowerBI, IPA, R, SQL, Java, C++, C#, and Selenium.
