Senior Engineering Manager - Regulatory Reporting

Overview

Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple software engineering teams for a Regulatory Reporting platform in Citi’s Risk & Capital Technology organization.

What you'll do

• Lead multiple teams of software engineers and analysts to deliver the Regulatory Reporting platform.
• Provide technical oversight and people leadership, including performance evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure application architecture and design follow appropriate architectural and design patterns.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and AI tools (including Devin and Copilot) to improve development and credit risk management.
• Own resource, budget, and planning accountability and monitor end results.
• Collaborate with global teams across engineering, business analysis, DevOps, and support to deliver solutions.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of relevant experience designing and developing robust, scalable, maintainable applications using Object Oriented Design.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing multiple development teams.
• Proven experience leveraging AI/ML tools for software development using effective prompting.
• Prior banking domain experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java Core and concurrent programming.
• Spring Framework experience (Core, Integration, Batch, JDBC, Hibernate).
• Database familiarity: Oracle (RDBMS) and MongoDB (NoSQL).

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Capital Markets and Credit Risk.
