Senior Finance Executive

Overview

Lokal is looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Finance & Accounts professional with 3–4 years of experience, preferably in e-commerce or startup environments, to handle end-to-end finance operations, process improvement and automation.

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Process vendor invoices, reconcile them and make timely payments.
• Handle customer invoicing, collections and ageing analysis.
• Resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor daily cash flow and fund requirements.
• Manage banking transactions, payments and liquidity planning.
• Coordinate with banks and internal stakeholders.
• Handle end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage statutory deductions, reimbursements and employee queries.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports, dashboards and financial summaries.
• Analyze variances and provide actionable insights to management.
• Support internal and external audit processes and ensure timely audit closure with proper documentation.
• Maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
• Implement tools and processes to streamline finance operations.
• Frame, document and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and best practices.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Hands-on experience in AP, AR, Treasury, Payroll and MIS.
• Experience in audit handling and closure.
• Exposure to automation tools and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have

• CA Inter or MBA Finance.
• Preferably experience in e-commerce or startup environments.
