Overview
Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer to build end-to-end production AI systems, owning both the data foundation and the full-stack applications that run on top of it.
What you'll do
- Own work end to end from discovery and solution shaping through production deployment.
- Design and build the data foundation including data models, schema design, ETL/ELT pipelines, and SCD.
- Build full-stack applications using Python/FastAPI services and Next.js frontends.
- Use AI coding agents (Claude Code or equivalent) as a build accelerator.
- Develop AI capabilities such as RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and LLM-in-the-loop processing.
- Orchestrate pipelines and automation using tools like Airflow, Dagster/Prefect, Celery, or Temporal.
- Set up and own CI/CD and cloud deployments on AWS and Azure.
What you'll need
- 5+ years with Python as a primary language.
- FastAPI experience with async REST API design, dependency injection, and testing.
- Next.js experience covering component architecture, SSR, and state management.
- PostgreSQL experience for schema design, query optimization, and indexing.
- Advanced SQL and at least one modern data platform (e.g., Snowflake or Databricks) in depth.
- dbt experience with transformations, tests, documentation, and incremental strategies.
- Hands-on production ETL/ELT experience across batch and incremental loads.
