Senior FullStack Engineer - Real User Monitoring (RUM) | US | Remote

Overview

Build full-stack Real User Monitoring features that ingest, store, query, and visualize high-volume browser and mobile telemetry. The role covers frontend experiences, backend services, APIs, storage systems, and real-time exploration of user sessions, traces, and events.

What you'll do

• Build and evolve full-stack RUM features across frontend, backend, APIs, and storage.
• Design systems for ingesting, storing, and querying high-volume telemetry.
• Develop performant query layers and APIs for real-time data exploration.
• Build frontend applications that visualize RUM data and user behavior.
• Optimize data models, indexes, and queries for low-latency analytics.
• Own projects from design and implementation through deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with SDK, engineering, product, and solutions teams.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
• Frontend experience with TypeScript and React.
• Backend experience; Go is preferred.
• Experience operating distributed systems in production.
• Experience with high-throughput, high-cardinality data.
• Experience designing APIs and distributed services.
• Familiarity with cloud-native systems and observability concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with browser or mobile instrumentation and RUM SDKs.
• Mobile development experience or familiarity with mobile telemetry.
• Contributions to OpenTelemetry or observability open-source projects.
• Experience building developer-facing or observability products.
• Familiarity with session replay, sampling, or user behavior analytics.

• Remote role in the United States.
• US OTE/base compensation range: USD $154,445–$185,334.
