Senior Guidewire Developer (BillingCenter Configuration)

Overview

Senior Guidewire Consultant specializing in configuring and integrating BillingCenter as part of a Global Delivery team for P&C insurers implementing Guidewire Cloud.

What you'll do

• Configure Guidewire BillingCenter areas including entities, workflows, rules, UI, and the product model.
• Translate business and functional needs into BillingCenter configuration and integration designs with architects, BAs, developers, and QA.
• Implement and support BillingCenter integrations using web services, REST APIs, messaging, and batch processes.
• Contribute to data migration including mapping, transformation rules, migration scripts, test data preparation, and reconciliation/validation.
• Create and maintain design documents, configuration workbooks, interface specs, and deployment checklists.
• Support SIT and UAT by clarifying expected behavior, analyzing defects, and applying configuration fixes.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum delivery model with estimation, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and demos.

What you'll need

• 6-9 years of overall IT experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing or enhancing core insurance systems for P&C insurers.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter (cloud or on-premise) on at least one implementation or major enhancement.
• Practical knowledge of P&C claims lifecycle processes including FNOL, coverage verification, reserving, litigation, recoveries, subrogation, and closure.
• BillingCenter configuration concepts such as data model, workflows, rules, exposure and claim segments, and user roles/permissions.
• Experience with integration patterns and technologies including REST/SOAP, messaging, and batch/file-based interfaces.
• Comfort working in Agile/Scrum teams in a Professional Services/consulting context.
