Senior Guidewire Developer (ClaimCenter Configuration)

Overview

Senior Guidewire ClaimCenter Consultant/Developer focused on hands-on configuration, integration, and data migration for P&C insurers using Guidewire Cloud.

What you'll do

• Configure Guidewire ClaimCenter (entities, workflows, rules, UI, product model).
• Translate business and functional needs into ClaimCenter configuration and integration designs.
• Implement and support integrations between ClaimCenter and external/enterprise systems via web services, REST APIs, messaging, and batch processes.
• Contribute to data migration activities including mapping, transformation rules, scripts, test data preparation, and reconciliation/validation.
• Create and maintain functional and technical design documents and deployment checklists.
• Support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) through defect analysis and configuration fixes.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum model including estimation, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and demos.

What you'll need

• 6–9 years of overall IT experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing or enhancing core insurance systems for P&C insurers.
• Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter on at least one implementation or major enhancement.
• Understanding of P&C claims lifecycle and processes (FNOL, coverage verification, reserving, litigation, recoveries, subrogation, closure).
• Experience with ClaimCenter configuration concepts (data model, workflows, rules, exposure/claim segments, user roles/permissions).
• Familiarity with integration patterns and technologies (REST/SOAP web services, messaging, batch, file-based interfaces).
• Experience with data migration activities (source-to-target mapping, data cleansing, test data setup, validation).
