Senior IMS Specialist

Overview

Lead investigator payment operations and support complex financial processes across clinical trial programs.

What you'll do

• Lead Investigator Payment activities and ensure adherence to Clinical Trial Agreement (CTA) payment terms.
• Manage end-to-end payment operations for late-stage clinical trials, or PTP (Procure-to-Pay) and OTC (Order-to-Cash) processes.
• Partner with Clinical Operations, Project Management, Finance, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure seamless payment execution.
• Support audits and maintain accurate project payment records.
• Drive process improvements, identify operational efficiencies, and support compliance initiatives.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
• Mentor and train junior team members while serving as a subject matter expert for investigator payment processes.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in Investigator Payments, Clinical Trial Agreements (CTA), and Payment Management within a CRO or healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payment related Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
• Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews, and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven experience in training, mentoring, and leading team initiatives.

Nice to have

• CRO industry experience.
• Exposure to IMPACT, Medidata, or similar clinical trial payment platforms.
• Experience supporting global clinical trial payment operations.
