Overview
The Senior Integration Software Engineer will design, develop, and support enterprise integration, data platform, and cloud-native solutions that enable Wells business capabilities. The role leads APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and cloud services connecting Wells applications, engineering platforms, enterprise data products, AI solutions, and operational systems.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise integration solutions across Wells applications and platforms.
- Develop REST APIs, microservices, event-driven services, and reusable integration frameworks.
- Build secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud-native applications.
- Integrate Wells applications, engineering systems, vendor platforms, and enterprise services.
- Develop solutions utilizing Azure services, containerized workloads, and distributed computing architectures.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, infrastructure automation, and monitoring capabilities.
- Support Docker, Kubernetes, API Management, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native development practices.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, architecture, and operational standards.
- Integrate AI/ML and GenAI services into business workflows and engineering solutions.
- Support digital transformation initiatives through automation, workflow orchestration, and modern integration patterns.
- Enable data-driven decision-making by delivering trusted and scalable data services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration, performance, and reliability issues.
- Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Data Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in architecture reviews, solution design sessions, and technical decision-making.
- Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, software quality, and operational excellence.
- Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the Wells Digital Platform organization.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- At least 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in OOP including Net Framework/.NET Core.
- Full stack development capacity to integrate with Azure PaaS Services.
- Proficiency in working with Azure IaaS using ARM, Bicep, Ansible, and YAML towards automated deployment of Web Apps/Web Services/APIs/Docker Containers using Azure DevOps & GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in software architecture and design patterns such as repository/CQRS/GoF.
- Understanding of Azure Entra ID and Azure Key Vault-based security authentication and authorization using OAuth or other similar protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and in a cross-functional collaborative team environment.
- Ability to mentor and grow others’ technical capabilities, share knowledge/experience, and collaborate with domain experts.
Nice to have
- Professional software development experience in the oil and gas industry with Wells domain knowledge.
- Knowledge of Databricks Notebook and Azure Synapse / Azure Data Factory Jobs.
- Knowledge of Power Automate integration.
- Familiarity and experience with OSDU, WITSML, and other protocols.
- Familiarity and experience with Pelaton WellView APIs and WellView data products such as WellHeader, Perforation, Completions, Jobs, Daily Reports, and Unscheduled Events.
Details
- Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
- The standard work week is Monday to Friday.
- Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1:30pm to 10:30pm.
- Work hours will be aligned to support business requirements across global operations.
