What you'll do

• Contribute to the design and delivery of complex Cloud Platforms, IT systems and solutions that support strategic priorities and objectives.
• Oversee the optimisation of deployment from concept and test into production across the infrastructure and/or operational support system environment.
• Manage and validate system lifecycle plans and identify improvement opportunities to meet performance and operational requirements.
• Work closely and collaboratively with technology partners and stakeholders to understand customer needs and drive speed, agility and a great customer experience.
• Analyse data and stakeholder inputs to inform key decisions, identify and address barriers, and help ensure quality of outcomes.
• Apply critical thinking, analysis and modelling skills, including cost modelling and options analysis, to assess complex issues and create solutions that meet business requirements and engineer in quality, resiliency, flexibility and ease of maintenance.
• Assess capability of vendor solutions and offerings to meet business requirements and manage vendor performance and technology delivery.
• Maintain a high level of capability in domain technologies, including new and emerging technologies, tools, systems and processes, and actively coach and mentor less experienced infrastructure engineering team members.
• Encourage and support innovation, simplification and continuous improvement in the team through idea generation and experimentation.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience as a Senior Azure DevOps engineer.
• Azure IaaS/PaaS Landing Zones and App Migration.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Containers using Kubernetes.
• Security Policies.
• Cost Optimization.
• Incident/Change Management.

Nice to have

• System Design and Architecture.
• Programming in PowerShell/Python.
• Technical Leadership and Stakeholder Management.
