Overview
Senior Manager-level Clinical Data Scientist applying statistical, data science, and analytics methods to support clinical development programs and deliver analysis-ready insights.
What you'll do
- Execute clinical data science activities for assigned studies to deliver timely, high-quality analyses and quantitative insights.
- Perform exploratory analyses, data visualization, and quantitative assessments using clinical trial and other data sources.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate scientific questions into analysis-ready datasets, specifications, and reproducible workflows.
- Support integrated data review by identifying data trends, inconsistencies, and risks needing investigation.
- Apply statistical, machine learning, simulation, and visualization methods to interpret results and support development decisions.
- Review analysis outputs, visualizations, and technical documentation for quality, traceability, and reproducibility.
What you'll need
- PhD in relevant fields with 5+ years of relevant experience, or MS with 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience supporting quantitative analyses and data science in regulated clinical development environments.
- Ability to contribute to clinical development decisions through quantitative analysis, interpretation, and communication.
- Experience working effectively on cross-functional study teams.
- Hands-on R and/or Python proficiency, with working knowledge of SAS and SQL for reproducible analyses and code quality.
- Working knowledge of CDISC standards including SDTM and ADaM, plus Define-XML concepts.
- Knowledge relevant to clinical data deliverables including FDA/EMA/ICH-GCP, GxP, data privacy, inspection readiness, and traceability.
