Overview

Senior Engineering Manager for enterprise firewall engineering, acting as a strategic technical and people leader for core infrastructure network security.

What you'll do

• Lead firewall architecture work across Next Generation Firewalls, SD-WAN, and Cisco ASA platforms.
• Architect and implement enterprise-wide firewall solutions on Palo Alto Networks tools, including HA and policy orchestration.
• Define and execute network segmentation and identity-based access strategies using Cisco ISE and 802.1x for least-privilege access.
• Secure hybrid cloud environments by managing ingress/egress controls and cloud-to-on-prem traffic flows for AWS and Azure.
• Deploy and tune threat prevention and security features including IDS/IPS, URL/DNS filtering, sandboxing, and SSL/TLS decryption.
• Build automation pipelines for firewall rule management, logging, and compliance reporting using Python and Terraform.
• Drive root cause analysis and remediation for firewall-related incidents including upgrades, hardware failures, and DLP enforcement.

What you'll need

• 12+ years in network security engineering focused on enterprise firewall platforms.
• Enterprise security acumen and experience working with Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls.
• Deep expertise in Palo Alto Networks technologies and HA firewall architectures.
• Knowledge of routing/switching protocols including BGP, VRF, and MPLS.
• Experience with SSL decryption, DLP, and Zero Trust implementations.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python, Terraform, and Jenkins.
