Overview
Lead enterprise-wide implementation of India’s Labour Codes for a multi-site organization, owning governance, audits, policies, and compliance readiness.
What you'll do
- Own enterprise Labour Code implementation and compliance readiness across business units.
- Develop and manage statutory filings, renewals, and an audit calendar.
- Oversee contractor and vendor labour compliance across factories and project sites.
- Coordinate labour audits and timely resolution of audit findings with relevant authorities.
- Support labour and employee relations, including hearings and inspections.
- Design and standardize labour compliance SOPs, policies, and governance frameworks.
What you'll need
- 15+ years of progressive experience in labour law compliance, industrial relations, and statutory compliance.
- LLB or relevant Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Law, HR, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
- Hands-on experience implementing and managing compliance under Central and State Labour Laws, including the new Labour Codes.
- Experience managing compliance across corporate offices, manufacturing plants, and project sites.
- Experience handling labour inspections, statutory audits, government authorities, and legal proceedings.
- Working knowledge of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, Factories Act, and multiple specified Labour Codes.
- Familiarity with compliance management systems and HRIS/standard productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
