Overview
Senior Manager, Procurement Data Excellence & Governance in Micron’s Global Procurement Digital Transformation & AI organization. Own procurement data governance and quality operations and lead a multi-region team to make procurement data trusted, measurable, and ready for AI.
What you'll do
- Own the procurement data governance framework, including policies, standards, decision rights, and stewardship operations.
- Lead data quality and master data operations for Vendor Master, Material Master, spend, and category taxonomy.
- Establish Global Procurement KPIs, metrics, and program reporting as a single trusted performance source.
- Reimagine the governance and excellence operating model with AI agents embedded for monitoring, lineage, and maintenance.
- Lead the procurement data strategy by prioritizing Critical Data Elements and defining readiness and validation rules for agents.
- Direct technical foundations including data lineage, cross-system mapping, and maintaining a searchable data dictionary and business glossary.
- Lead, coach, and develop a multi-region team and partner with IT, Security, Compliance, and enterprise data governance stakeholders.
What you'll need
- 10+ years in enterprise data management, analytics, or governance, including 5+ years leading data governance/MDM/data quality programs, and 3+ years leading teams.
- At least 5 years in a large, multi-region enterprise (5,000+ employees) running on SAP (ECC and/or S/4HANA).
- 3+ years working with procurement, sourcing, or supply-chain data across Vendor/Business Partner Master, Material Master, Spend, Category Taxonomy, and Contracts.
- Experience delivering an enterprise data governance operating model with measurable, sustained adoption.
- Program experience on an MDM or data catalog platform (Informatica, Collibra, or Ataccama).
- Working knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI or Tableau, plus data lineage and cross-system mapping.
- Experience defining data requirements for production AI/ML, automation, or agentic workflows (data readiness, quality thresholds, validation/feedback rules).
