Senior Network Engineer

Overview

Senior Network Engineer role on Autodesk’s Global Network Engineering team, focused on maintaining and improving advanced networking and security across cloud and data center environments.

What you'll do

• Improve and engage in the full lifecycle of a network from design through operation and optimization.
• Implement global networking backbone infrastructure initiatives.
• Create and update network standards and ensure deployments follow them.
• Work with automation teams to define tools for scaling networking operations.
• Automate networking tasks and build self-service tools.
• Manage an enterprise-scale SASE solution.
• Cross-train and mentor teammates.

What you'll need

• 5-10 years of experience in routing and switching.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of Dark Fiber and related technologies.
• Experience with BGP, including peering relationship management.
• Ability to design, secure, and automate AWS networking infrastructure.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP networking and core technologies such as MPLS, BGP, DNS, and IPsec.
• Proven ability to work effectively within an Agile framework.
• Cisco CCNA.
