Senior Network Engineer

Overview

Senior Network Engineer responsible for hybrid/cloud global network operations and providing senior expertise for network engineering, including on-prem networking, cloud networking (Azure/AWS), and VOIP. The role includes off-hours on-call and a 3 PM–12 AM shift, with potential visits to the Mumbai office as needed.

What you'll do

• Manage physical network operations for office environments including firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Operate enterprise WiFi and manage ZScaler network components.
• Monitor global traffic latency, issues, and application performance.
• Update and design next-generation network models.
• Run network detection and response, including intrusion detection and prevention.
• Integrate Azure cloud traffic with on-prem traffic and implement Azure Web Security/CASB approaches.
• Update network security using VNETs and subnets with traffic monitoring.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in core enterprise networking, preferably global network design and security methodologies.
• At least 5+ years of experience with advanced Azure cloud networking technologies.
• Substantial experience managing WiFi operations.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SonicWall/Netgear.
• Knowledge of telecommunications technologies including VOIP, SIP Trunking, and Microsoft Teams.
• Solid engineering knowledge of routing, switching (VLANs), Azure networking, firewalls, and traffic management.
