Senior Network Engineer

Overview

Senior Network Engineer to join Wise’s Platform Integrations APAC team, supporting direct integrations with payment systems and partners across the region.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain integrations between Wise and complex financial systems.
• Develop scalable, repeatable integration architecture with complex regulatory requirements.
• Analyse infrastructure to identify inefficiencies and problems, and create automation and optimisation.
• Collaborate with platform engineering and product engineering on globally impactful projects.
• Work with stakeholders to plan roadmaps and determine scope and realistic delivery for challenges.
• Influence technology direction and advocate for excellence with third parties.

What you'll need

• Strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing and switching.
• Experience supporting complex deployments including load-balancing/ECMP, firewalls, IPSEC, GRE, and Network ACLs.
• Experience with complex routing using BGP.
• SRE and network automation experience (IaaC, Python, Ansible, Netconf, CI/CD, telemetry).
• Experience developing and documenting network designs.
• Ability to translate business requirements into explainable technical solutions for stakeholders.
