Overview
System Engineer role focused on implementing, maintaining, and expanding an enterprise network for a global team.
What you'll do
- Provide support for global network infrastructure including monitoring, alert management, and maintenance.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement network maintenance such as patching, upgrades, and performance optimization.
- Manage and support core network technologies proactively and reactively.
- Monitor alerts for network gear and SaaS services and perform initial triage for issues.
- Manage ticket queues, tickets, and escalations.
- Lead setup and configuration for new office sites from the ground up.
- Act as an escalation point for complex troubleshooting and collaborate on remediation.
What you'll need
- 3–5+ years supporting network infrastructure in a global enterprise environment.
- Solid understanding of network infrastructure and monitoring principles.
- Proven experience setting up and configuring new office sites.
- Experience maintaining ticket queues, tickets, and escalations.
- Working knowledge of ITOM software that monitors and alerts across IT infrastructure.
- Hands-on knowledge with Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, Global Protect VPN, and Portnox.
- BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or CCNP.
- Previous experience in a support or NOC environment.
- Experience with scripting and automation for network tasks.
- Experience leveraging AI technologies to assist in the role.

- 24x5 staffing with rotational weekend on-call support.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and cover escalations outside scheduled shifts.
- Must have reliable internet when working remotely.
