Senior Platform Architect (Presales)

Overview

Senior Platform Architect supporting enterprise presales by designing AI-powered Zendesk service solutions, leading technical discovery and proofs of concept, and advising senior stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Lead strategic architecture discussions with executives and sales teams.
• Conduct technical discovery and manage complex proofs of concept.
• Design and deploy multi-step agentic workflows with Zendesk Agent Builder and Action Builder.
• Architect integrations between Zendesk, external AI platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Connect federated enterprise data sources using Context Graph and Knowledge Graph connectors.
• Lead technical handoffs to post-sales implementation teams.
• Provide subject-matter expertise on platform security, scalability, data models, and Copilot implementations.

What you'll need

• 8+ years in enterprise systems or solutions architecture, technical presales, or professional IT consulting.
• Experience architecting and deploying generative AI, prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic AI systems.
• Advanced expertise in REST APIs, JSON, web services, database design, data modeling, and MCP.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and enterprise iPaaS integrations.
• Knowledge of SSO, OAuth, data privacy frameworks, and token-based authentication.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SaaS application architectures.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and present technical concepts on-site and remotely.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale enterprise customer service or ITSM implementations.
• Experience with diagnostic analytics for root-cause and trend analysis.
• Familiarity with React, Vue, Node.js, and AI-augmented tools.
• Technical presales experience in enterprise SaaS or CX.
• Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, ServiceNow, Intercom Fin, or Freshworks.
