Principal - Software Engineer

Overview

Lead hands-on development of full-stack, AI-powered applications for supply chain and operations. The role combines application architecture, production delivery, technical leadership, and mentorship of junior engineers.

What you'll do

• Design, build, test, document, and support full-stack applications across the software lifecycle.
• Build cloud-deployed front-end and back-end services and monitor their performance and reliability.
• Embed natural-language queries, predictive insights, recommendations, and conversational interfaces into applications.
• Integrate ML models and LLM APIs and build agentic workflows with approval and audit logging.
• Build knowledge graphs, ontologies, and reusable AI capabilities through MCP servers or equivalent interfaces.
• Set engineering standards, review code, and establish CI/CD and automated testing workflows.
• Lead complex application projects, translate business problems into plans, and mentor junior engineers.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience building and shipping full-stack applications to production.
• Strong front-end and back-end development capability across the full application lifecycle.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, code review, and secure-by-default practices.
• Ability to debug across front end, APIs, databases, and integrations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience with Databricks, AWS, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
• Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, maintenance, or similar operational domains.

Details

• Remote position.
• In-person attendance is required for New Hire Orientation on Day 1.
• Base pay is $152,000–$202,000 per year.
• Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
