Senior Principal Software Architect

Overview

Lead the architectural vision and long-term technology strategy for the Mobile Engineering group, spanning mobile platforms, AI-native engineering, cloud services, security, and developer platforms.

What you'll do

• Define the multi-year architecture roadmap for Mobile Engineering.
• Architect reusable mobile capabilities, including authentication, identity, security, UI, analytics, telemetry, and offline-sync components.
• Drive modular enterprise mobile applications backed by cloud-native microservices.
• Lead AI-assisted design, coding, testing, reviews, documentation, and Agentic SDLC adoption.
• Establish developer platforms, golden paths, CI/CD pipelines, and experience standards with Platform Engineering.
• Set architecture governance, technical standards, and design review processes.
• Mentor senior technical leaders and represent Mobile Engineering in executive architecture reviews.

What you'll need

• At least 18 years of software engineering experience.
• At least 8 years of architecture leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in native Android and iOS development.
• Experience with cloud-native distributed systems, microservices, and API ecosystems.
• Success leading cross-functional architecture initiatives across global organizations.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and technical mentorship skills.

Nice to have

• Identity security, IAM, or cybersecurity expertise.
• Experience building enterprise mobile platforms or Mobile COEs.
• Platform Engineering, Internal Developer Platforms, or Developer Experience experience.
• Enterprise SaaS and large-scale cloud-native architecture experience.
