Senior Product Analyst, Product Management

Overview

Senior Product Analyst in Product Management supporting data-driven decision-making, generating insights, and providing strategic guidance to optimize business operations across Research and Development Business Insights and Technology.

What you'll do

• Act as primary liaison between cross-functional teams and all stakeholders, ensuring quick and clear information flow with no misinterpretation.
• Communicate with all stakeholders and define the right KPIs for project success.
• Drive ROI and values.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and identify opportunities for the application of generative AI solutions.
• Maximize the value of the product and the work of the Development Team.
• Take input from all stakeholders to guide the creation and prioritization of the Product Backlog.
• Provide clear understanding of backlog items in both function and value to maximize the efforts of the Development Team.
• Work closely with Product Owners and technical leads to ensure clean and clear requirements and smooth delivery.
• Maintain the team backlog with input from the Tech Lead/Architect/Engineering (Development) Team and other stakeholders.
• Review and reprioritize the backlog as preparation for Sprint Planning, including coordination of dependencies with other projects.
• Communicate story details and priorities and ensure the team aligns and agrees on a final iteration plan.
• Ensure AI solutions adhere to regulatory guidelines and BMS standards, addressing any compliance issues.
• Visualize business process flows using visualization tools such as MS Visio or Lucid Chart.
• Work closely with developers as part of the agile development team to translate user stories into working applications.
• Manage user acceptance testing, training, and change management associated with rollout of automation solutions.
• Prepare techno-functional user manuals for end users.
• Develop and maintain business requirements, user stories, and other documentation as required by BMS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and software validation processes.
• Provide functional guidance to developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure technological solutions are implemented correctly and maintained effectively throughout their lifecycle.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and act as a catalyst and champion for innovation in the Life Sciences industry.
• Conduct analysis and interpretation of complex data sets to derive meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations to communicate findings, insights and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
• Provide training, guidance and mentorship when required.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in business analysis, process mapping, solution development and delivery for AI and ML technologies in automation.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and experience with agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge in pharma document generation.
• Pharma background (must have).
• General awareness and knowledge of regulatory, legal, or quality requirements (e.g., privacy regulations, GxP) impacting the business, ensuring solution requirements include appropriate key points.
• Strong understanding of generative AI concepts and technologies.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python and cloud services.
• Knowledge of AI/ML/Gen AI solutions (e.g., data science projects, AI, ML, NLP, generative AI such as OpenAI, GCP Vertex AI and other LLMs).
• Experience working with real-world data (including clinical and healthcare), large datasets, and data visualization tools.
• Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner.
• Exposure to business analysis.
