Overview
Own and shape a product area within DealerSocket CRM that lets dealership teams connect with customers through voice, text, video and email, working with a team of six developers and partnering with the Senior Director of Product on roadmap direction and investment decisions.
What you'll do
- Understand dealer needs by using sales engagements, conversations with dealership users, customer feedback and product data to identify problems worth solving.
- Shape practical solutions by translating complex workflows into prototypes, requirements and testable acceptance criteria, including important edge cases.
- Make informed decisions by recommending priorities based on customer value, business impact, reliability, dependencies and delivery effort, and explaining tradeoffs and simpler approaches when appropriate.
- Own the experience across vendor boundaries by validating that integrations work for dealership users, clarifying responsibilities between systems, and following issues through to resolution with engineering and providers.
- Think through the complete workflow, including what happens when a customer calls back, a conversation changes owners, or a salesperson moves between desktop and mobile.
- Build trust into the product by working with Legal, Privacy, Compliance and technical teams to incorporate applicable communications and customer-data requirements.
- Deliver and learn by coordinating release readiness, rollout guidance and enablement, and using adoption, reliability, customer feedback and support insights to guide improvements after launch.
- Own team-level backlog prioritization, requirements, acceptance criteria and product launch readiness.
