Senior Project/Program Manager – Vice President

Overview

Senior analyst role in Systems Operations supporting medium-size, moderately complex IT projects, applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge and leading and coaching within the team.

What you'll do

• Oversee medium size/moderately complex IT projects.
• Develop detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
• Interface with project staff and clients regarding status of projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Conduct in-depth evaluation of business processes, system processes and industry standards.
• Provide sound understanding of IT project leadership concepts and principles and basic knowledge of concepts and principles in other technology areas.
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
• Act as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
• Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.
• Ensure the quality of work provided by self and others, impacting own team and closely related work teams.
• Exhibit sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What you'll need

• 6-10 years relevant experience.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, facilitation and influencing skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to prioritize and handle conflicting priorities.
• Bachelor's/University degree.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
