Overview
Senior SAP FICO Consultant role in Hyderabad, joining Lonza’s global IT and Finance organization.
What you'll do
- Design, configure, support, and continuously improve SAP ECC FI solutions for core finance processes.
- Translate finance, tax, controlling, and business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
- Ensure integration between SAP FI and related modules (CO, MM, SD, PS) plus third-party interfaces.
- Lead functional testing, support UAT, and validate business/compliance requirements.
- Provide expert support for complex SAP FICO incidents to maintain critical finance operations.
- Collaborate with AMS partners, technical teams, and vendors to deliver maintainable, compliant solutions.
- Contribute to finance transformation programs, global rollouts, and SAP S/4HANA-related initiatives.
What you'll need
- Proven experience delivering SAP FICO consulting, implementation, or application support in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong SAP FI configuration expertise across General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Banking, and Tax.
- Deep understanding of SAP FI integration points with CO, MM, SD, and PS.
- Experience turning business requirements into solution designs, functional specs, testing strategies, and deployment-ready solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and support critical finance processes with global stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, management information systems, computer science, or related discipline.
- SAP S/4HANA Finance experience, SAP certification, and regulated-industry experience are highly desirable (pharmaceuticals/life sciences).
