Senior SDET Analyst

Overview

Senior SDET Analyst on the Global Test Engineering team, responsible for test automation frameworks, white box testing and quality validation for payments systems.

What you'll do

• Design, build and maintain moderately complex test automation frameworks and tools, integrated with Continuous Integration (CI) infrastructure, for automated web, API and RESTful service testing.
• Write and execute application tests at the source code level (unit, component, TDD/BDD), identifying improper coding structures and deficiencies to prevent hidden errors early in the development lifecycle.
• Develop test scripts and analyze application performance, load and security, using service virtualization tools to emulate dependent system components and prevent performance bottlenecks.
• Build and deploy testing environments, manage test data conditioning, and collaborate with business and development stakeholders to construct intricate test cases and ensure Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance.
• Act as the single point of contact for assigned client projects, coordinating test team activities, reviewing client test plans, and prioritizing execution to deliver high-quality outcomes.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience considered).
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software testing, coding, designing, and automated tool development.
• Proven proficiency in white box testing, CI/CD pipeline integration, service virtualization tools, and scripting against non-UI components like APIs and RESTful web services.
• A seasoned, experienced professional capability with a full understanding of software testing specializations, showing a track record of resolving a wide range of structural and functional code issues.

Nice to have

• 6+ years of experience developing automated testing strategies across a wide variety of infrastructure environments and frameworks.
