Senior Service Engineer

Overview

Senior Service Engineer role focused on leading complex service, maintenance, and repair activities, and resolving technical issues through diagnostics and root cause analysis.

What you'll do

• Lead and execute complex service, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to deliver timely resolutions.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and procedures to improve uptime and longevity.
• Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to provide feedback and contribute to improvements.
• Document all service activities, technical findings, and solutions thoroughly.
• Manage and prioritize multiple service requests to ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in a field service or technical support role.
• Expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex electromechanical systems, software, and networking components.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues independently.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to explain complex technical concepts.
• Experience with diagnostic tools, test equipment, and industry-relevant software applications.
• Ability to travel frequently to customer sites, sometimes on short notice.
