Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Remote, India) EST

Overview

Senior Site Reliability Engineer focused on FinOps and infrastructure reliability across backend engineering, operations, and cost optimization.

What you'll do

• Drive Kubernetes cost efficiency by reducing overprovisioning and running right-sizing programs.
• Maintain cost telemetry used by backend teams for decision-making.
• Optimize GPU throughput by running structured experiments on on-prem GPU clusters.
• Build tooling, dashboards, and processes so backend teams can manage their own cost and reliability budgets.
• Improve reliability instrumentation for new and offline infrastructure flows.
• Take ownership of a defined slice of active security workstreams to reduce DevOps bottlenecks.

What you'll need

• 4-5 years of hands-on systems experience.
• Production backend experience in Python and Go/Rust.
• Experience owning services end to end and reasoning about backend code across teams.
• Kubernetes at scale knowledge including scheduling and resource requests/limits plus autoscaling components and cost-aware scaling tools.
• GCP fluency and IaC with Terraform, including CI/CD familiarity.
• Observability/reliability experience (metrics, traces, logs, SLOs) and instrumentation discipline.

• Work in the EST time zone (usually 8 PM to 4 AM IST).
