Overview
Senior Software Developer role in the Air Supply Organization, focused on building scalable, high-performance backend services and applications for airline connectivity and travel products.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain highly available services, APIs, and data models.
- Lead feature delivery from technical design through production support.
- Improve code quality, observability, performance, reliability, and incident reduction.
- Mentor engineers on software engineering, testing, and architecture practices.
- Collaborate across product, design, data, and engineering teams on reusable solutions.
- Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions in real-world products.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of professional backend software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in an object-oriented language such as Java or Kotlin.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, testing, and version control.
- Experience with API design and consumption, data models, storage systems, and system design.
- Experience owning end-to-end delivery across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
Nice to have
- Experience with high-traffic distributed-system architecture.
- Experience driving technical direction and scalability, reliability, performance, and cost tradeoffs.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, incident response, and production improvement.
- Familiarity with AI-driven systems and AI/ML-enabled features.
- Experience leading cross-team initiatives or migrations and mentoring engineers.
